Established in 2001, the .NAME gTLD is the sole TLD intended for personal web pages only. These domains can be personal or fictional names, nicknames and/or other titles people are famous by. At first, just third-level registrations were possible, so if you wanted to reserve john.doe.name, you would have to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration procedures were loosened and second-level registrations were also permitted. Already registered third-level domains remained operational.

Through our firm, you can purchase your .NAME domain for a period between one and ten years. You will be able to change the WHOIS contact details, to park your domain, to edit Custom DNS records, etc. You can also move over an active domain to our company if you take its EPP transfer authorization code from the present registrar and we will renew it when the transfer has been finalized. There are no specific requirements on who can obtain a .NAME domain, but in order to maintain the idea behind its creation alive, the Registry organization may verify who the Registrant is and if there is no link between the owner and the actual domain, the registration can be challenged.

The .NAME top-level domain is one of the extensions that support internationalized domains, so we can also register a domain in any language at no further cost. In this way, your dot NAME domain will be recognized in your country or region with the accurate spelling in your local language.
